Date adjustment rules
When Allow Date Adjustment? is enabled, you can define how the collection date behaves in different scenarios:
Collect on the Collection Day
The process day follows the approved mandate without any changes. You can still apply a different adjustment rule at a later stage; the new rule will apply to all new and existing collections after saving the changes.
Collect on the Previous Business Day (Mon–Fri)
If the collection date falls on a Saturday, Sunday, or public holiday, the payment will be processed on the previous business day (Friday).
Collection on the Previous Banking Day (Mon–Sat)
If the collection date falls on a Sunday or public holiday, the payment will be processed on the previous banking day (including Saturday).
Why Use Allow Date Adjustment?
Provides flexibility for customers who wish to amend their debit date.
Ensures collections are processed smoothly even if a scheduled process date does not deliver.
Enabling this setting does not prevent disputes — customers may still challenge a debit if it occurs on a date different from the approved mandate.
