Payments overview

The Payments section provides a complete view of all payment activity within your account. To access it, navigate to Payments in the left-hand menu.

You’ll find two types of payments:

For a debit order instruction to be submitted to the bank, a payment record must exist. The payment defines the amount, process date, and reference used when generating and sending the debit instruction.

Recurring Payments

Recurring payments are scheduled, repeating debit orders that automatically process at regular intervals—monthly, or annually. They’re ideal for ongoing collections such as:

  • Subscriptions or memberships

  • Rentals or service agreements

  • Loan repayments

All recurring payments can be viewed and managed on this page. Each record includes details such as the payer name, amount, collection date, and payment status.

To view or pause a payment from running:

  1. Locate the record.

  2. Click the Action button.

  3. Select View or Pause from the dropdown menu.

  4. Go to customer

One-time Payments

A one-time debit payment is a single, non-repeating collection — perfect for once-off purchases, donations, event fees, or settlement of outstanding balances.

You can create these payments manually, share an e-mandate link for customers to authorise their own payment, or import multiple one-time payments in bulk via CSV for efficient processing.

Actions Available for Payments

On the Payments page, you can control each payment record using the Action button.

Payment-Specific Actions

  • View: You can view the payment details from here.

  • Go to customer: Click on the Action button next to a specific payment, then select Go to customer to navigate directly to that customer’s profile.

  • Edit: Update or modify payment details as needed.

  • Run: When a payment is set to Run, all associated debit order instructions will be sent to the bank according to the payment schedule.

    • This applies to both one-time and recurring payments.

    • Transactions will continue to process automatically until the payment is paused, completed, or cancelled.

  • Pause: When a payment is Paused, no further debit order instructions will be sent to the bank.

    • Existing processed transactions are not affected; only future instructions are stopped.

    • Pausing is useful when temporarily suspending collections without deleting the payment record.

Filters and Data Management

You can filter through payments the same way you do with mandates — by payer, date, amount, or status — to quickly find specific records.

From the same page, you can:

  • Create new payments (one-time or recurring)

  • Export payment data for reporting or record-keeping purposes

This makes the Payments page your central hub for monitoring, managing, and reconciling all debit order activity.

Exports

Export your list of payment to a CSV file for reporting or record-keeping.

When exporting, you can choose between:

  • All: Exports all payments, ignoring any filters applied.

  • Results: Exports only the payments that match your current filters.
