03-09-2025 Customisable terms & conditions for page mandates

Introduction

Previously, clients could only append additional Terms & Conditions to mandates. Multiple clients requested full control of the wording per payment method to meet business requirements. This update introduces customisable Terms & Conditions functionality with validation and merge tags.

New Feature

• Ts & Cs Tab

  • Added a new tab under Pages Create & Edit labelled Ts & Cs.

  • Includes multiple text fields for:

    • One-time payments

    • Recurring payments

• Default Content

  • Pre-filled with standard Terms for EFT Debit Orders and DebiCheck.

  • Inserted all available replacement tags into the default template.

  • Editing or changing any of the input fields regenerates the terms, even during edits.

• Validation

  • On Save, the system validates that all required merge tags are present.

  • Duplicate tag checks were skipped since some tags may be used multiple times.

  • Error messages guide the user if required tags are missing.

• DebiCheck Enhancements

  • Added conditional validation for DebiCheck mandates.

  • Mandatory tags (e.g., First Collection Date and Amount) are enforced only when applicable based on page setup.

  • Logic continues to apply Date Adjustment Rules when pages are completed by customers.
