1. Purpose
This 1Voucher Policy ("Policy") forms part of the Merchant Agreement.
This Policy governs the Merchant's acceptance of 1Voucher payments processed through the Services.
1Voucher enables Customers to pay using prepaid digital vouchers issued by approved voucher providers.
This Policy should be read together with the following documents:
- Merchant Agreement
- Fees & Pricing
- Privacy Notice
- Data Processing Addendum
- Information Security Policy
- Security Requirements
- Acceptable Use Policy
- Sanctions and Anti-Money Laundering Policy
- Chargeback & Dispute Policy
2. Scope
This Policy applies to all 1Voucher transactions processed through the Services, including transactions initiated through:
- Hosted Checkout;
- Embedded Checkout;
- Payment Links;
- Merchant APIs;
- Mobile Applications; and
- any other 1Voucher integration supported by Kwik.
1Voucher transactions are facilitated through an Underlying Payment Provider approved by Kwik.
3. Underlying Payment Provider
1Voucher transactions are currently facilitated through:

By enabling or using 1Voucher, the Merchant acknowledges that transactions are also subject to the operational rules, technical requirements and legal documentation of the applicable Underlying Payment Provider.
The Merchant agrees to comply with the applicable 1Voucher legal documentation available at:

Kwik relies on the Underlying Payment Provider's own licensing and compliance with Applicable Law and does not independently verify or guarantee that compliance.
Kwik may add, remove or replace voucher providers without requiring an amendment to this Policy.
4. Financial Crime Risk
The Merchant acknowledges that prepaid vouchers can present a higher financial crime risk than account-based payment methods, including because vouchers may be purchased and redeemed without the same degree of identity verification applied to other payment methods.
Accordingly, Kwik may, in accordance with the Sanctions and Anti-Money Laundering Policy:
- impose transaction value limits on 1Voucher payments;
- impose frequency limits on 1Voucher payments;
- apply enhanced monitoring to 1Voucher transactions; and
- request additional information from the Merchant in respect of any 1Voucher transaction,
and may decline, delay, or reverse a 1Voucher transaction where reasonably necessary to manage this risk.
5. Availability
1Voucher is available only:
- where supported by Kwik;
- where supported by the Underlying Payment Provider;
- where a valid voucher is presented;
- where sufficient voucher value is available; and
- where the transaction is successfully authorised.
Kwik does not guarantee the continuous availability of 1Voucher.
6. Voucher Validation
Every voucher presented for payment is subject to validation by the applicable Underlying Payment Provider.
Validation may include:
- voucher authenticity;
- voucher status;
- voucher expiry;
- available balance;
- fraud screening; and
- other operational checks.
A voucher that fails validation will not be accepted.
7. Voucher Redemption
A voucher may only be redeemed in accordance with the operational rules of the Underlying Payment Provider.
Once successfully redeemed:
- the voucher value may be reduced or exhausted;
- redemption may be irreversible; and
- the voucher may no longer be available for future use.
Kwik does not control voucher issuance, activation, expiry or redemption rules.
8. Merchant Responsibilities
The Merchant shall:
- provide accurate payment information;
- fulfil customer orders promptly;
- maintain appropriate customer support processes;
- comply with Applicable Law;
- comply with the Merchant Agreement;
- comply with this Policy; and
- comply with the operational requirements of the Underlying Payment Provider.
The Merchant shall not:
- accept voucher codes outside the approved payment flow;
- attempt to redeem vouchers outside the Services;
- manipulate voucher values;
- interfere with voucher validation; or
- use 1Voucher for unlawful purposes.
9. Settlement
Settlement timeframes depend upon:
- the Underlying Payment Provider;
- banking operating hours;
- operational processing windows;
- weekends and public holidays; and
- regulatory requirements.
Settlement estimates published by Kwik are indicative only.
10. Refunds
Refunds are governed by the Chargeback & Dispute Policy.
Where supported:
- refunds remain subject to the operational rules of the Underlying Payment Provider;
- refunds may be issued using a different method than the original voucher where permitted;
- refunds remain subject to Applicable Law; and
- Kwik does not guarantee that redeemed vouchers can be reinstated.
11. Disputes
1Voucher transactions generally do not support traditional card Chargebacks.
The Merchant remains responsible for:
- customer communications;
- product fulfilment;
- refund obligations;
- supporting evidence; and
- resolving commercial disputes.
12. Third-Party Rules
1Voucher transactions are subject to:
- the Merchant Agreement;
- this Policy;
- the operational rules of the Underlying Payment Provider; and
- Applicable Law.
Where the Underlying Payment Provider imposes more restrictive operational requirements than this Policy, those requirements shall prevail to the extent necessary to process the transaction.
13. Suspension
Kwik may suspend 1Voucher immediately where:
- required by the Underlying Payment Provider;
- fraud is suspected;
- suspicious activity is identified;
- regulatory requirements require suspension;
- continued processing presents an unacceptable operational, financial or regulatory risk; or
- the Merchant breaches this Policy or the Merchant Agreement.
Suspension of 1Voucher does not automatically suspend other payment methods.
14. Limitation of Liability
Without limiting the Merchant Agreement, Kwik shall not be liable for:
- expired vouchers;
- invalid vouchers;
- insufficient voucher balances;
- duplicate redemption attempts;
- provider outages;
- delays caused by the Underlying Payment Provider;
- voucher validation failures; or
- transaction failures outside Kwik's reasonable control.
15. Changes
Kwik may amend this Policy from time to time to reflect:
- changes to supported voucher providers;
- operational improvements;
- regulatory developments;
- security enhancements;
- technological developments; or
- industry best practices.

Continued use of 1Voucher after an updated version becomes effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy where permitted by Applicable Law.
